Jun-woo and Hyun were once best friends but are now uneasy firefighting
partners. Jun-woo is as temperamental as the fire he fights against but Hyun
believes a cool head is the best policy in times of crisis. These differences
make these two men as different as night and day and they have had their
share of disagreements. On their first day on the squad, Jun-woo disobeys
orders to withdraw and tries to save yet another civilian. Hyun's interference
only leads to a physical scuffle between the two. But when a family dies in
the fire due to Hyun's prevention of further rescue efforts, Hyung-suk blames
Hyun for the loss. Days later, a suicidal man threatens to jump off a building
in the middle of downtown. Here, the two firefighter's opposing personalities
almost cost them the man's life. As a result, Hyun quits the squad. Ye-rin
cares more for Jun-woo than he does for himself. She can only watch
helplessly as he throws himself in dangerous situations in the line of duty.
When she becomes mired in a catastrophic accident, Jun-woo and Hyun
must join forces to find and rescue her.
