Years have passed since the reign of Mikado Kammu and the nation is at
peace finally. However, a demon has been attacking the locals, claiming
body parts of several people. The emperor orders Minamoto no Hiromasa
(Hideaki Ito) to find the cause of the disturbance and to see whether there is
actually a demon terrorizing the town or if it's just a hoax. Hiromasa once
again calls upon the legendary Abe no Seimei (Mansai Nomura) to aid his
cause.
But when the legendary Abe no Seimei realizes that they are not dealing with
just any demon, but an actual God, they will need more than just old relics
and spells to aid them. A new sorcerer who supposedly heals the sick and
poor named Genkaku (Kiichi Nakai) may just be the help they need, but is
he a friend or foe? . . .
