The singer of a club in Tokyo, Hiroshi, and a member of Yakuza gangs,
Zuyoshi, are the third generation Korean Japanese who are closer than
brothers. Unlike passive and friendly Hiroshi, passionate and hot-blooded
Zuyoshi hides his love towards Hiroshi. One day, Hiroshi happens to attack
Yakuzas who despised him under the reason he is not a Japanese. He,
however, is severely beaten. Zuyoshi plans a revenge. At the site of a drug
trading, he steals a suitcase filled with money and kills a Yakuza member.
However, Hiroshi falls in danger due to the act of Zuyoshi and Zuyoshi falls
in despair. As a result, Zuyoshi becomes a fugitive and runs away to Seoul.
Gyeong-a who is eager to make success in life comes to Japan thinking that
she could do everything herself. However, since she was categorized as an
illegal sojourner, she is forced out and sent back to Seoul. She lives a poor
life and sells her smile. She assures that she would do anything if she could
get a ticket for success. The more she thinks the way to success is cloudy,
the more often she goes to a pub, drinking and smoking. She meets Hiroshi
who sings at the pub, and feels comfort in his voice. Zuyoshi still fears about
Yakuzas' attack and still lives underground but, nevertheless, feels envy and
jealousy towards Hiroshi who falls in love with Gyeong-a.
