Yeong-u is an hard working engineer at a telephone office and known in his
area of business but is a lonely person who does not open his mind to
people because he has lived as an orphan. The only friend to whom he
opens up his mind is his roommate dog Alfonce though they are unable to
communicate each other with human language. He, who observes the stars
and memorizes all the stories about the constellation, has a person in mind.
It is the vet Su-yeon that looks after his dog. Whenever he has time, he goes
there to buy dog food although that's useless. He just looks around for
another dog to be near Su-yeon. But, because of his loneliness and lack of
courage, he could not express himself at all. Finally, he asks Su-yeon on a
date, however, fate leads them to the other way. Young-u, heartbroken, goes
into the deep mountains filled with snow, having applied for a job no one
wants.
