- Original Short Film "Bet on my disco(1981)"

Haejok (starring Lee Jeong-Jin) is a young man known locally for his fighting
ability, growing up in the 80s in an old-fashioned part of Seoul along with his
friends Bong-Pal (Im Chang-Jeong), and Sung-Gi (Yang Dong-Geun).
Haejok is in love with a mysterious and beautiful girl that he encountered
briefly on the street.
During dramatic twists and turns, Haejok finds out that the girl he is in love
with is called Bong-ja (Han Chae-Yeong) and that she is employed as a
hostess at a bar to work off a loan in order to support her family.

Determined to free her from this plight, he makes his way to the bar to
demand her release and causes a commotion with the bar workers, when
the owner intervenes and makes them a deal. He will release Bong-Ja if
Haejok wins an upcoming disco contest.

So; will Haejok win the contest and the love of Bong-ja ? You shouldn't
