year. Jung-hyun, a struggling writer, sells his first manuscript. To celebrate,
he buys a used car and takes Yoon-hee on a trip to the east coast. They run
into a minor accident, resulting them to continue their trip with a stranger who
calls himself M. M is a mysterious figure with a frightening look in his eyes.
His manner and speech annoyed the happy couple putting them in a state of
dread. The couple finally succeeds in losing him but before they can breathe
sighs of relief, M appears in front of them repeatedly. Jung-hyun is at one
point forced to physically assault M and thus lands in jail. M agrees not to
press charges only if the couple agree to accompany him on a 3-day trip to
which the couple has no choice but to acquiesce. Meanwhile, the police go
on a search for a vicious killer who has been leaving a trail of dead bodies
on the side of the highway. Terrified, the couple decides to sneak away in
the morning but cannot seem to shake M off. Every time they think they have
thrown him off their trail, M appears in front of them. As their terror and rage
reach its climax, M makes a shocking proposal to Jung-hyun. Tell me to kill
your woman, and you will live.
